Respond to ad-hoc fire safety queries and provide consultancy services as needed.
Identify fire hazards and evaluate the effectiveness of existing fire safety measures.
Conduct fire risk assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide practical advice and solutions to clients to address identified risks.
Liaise with enforcement officers and other stakeholders on behalf of clients.
Promote fire safety services and contribute to the development of fire strategies.
Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risk levels, and recommended actions.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Health and safety qualifications (IOSH or NEBOSH).
Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
In-depth knowledge of fire safety legislation and British standards.
Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent professional body.
Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments across various venue types.
Knowledge of the theatre or live performance sectors.
Experience within an enforcement role.
Ability to work additional hours as needed.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
