Planning Manager

Description

• Support bid teams with planning input for tenders and proposals and ensure compliance with Kier's planning standards and procedures.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities through effective planning strategies.
• Develop detailed construction programmes using industry-standard software, Asta Power Project.
• Lead the planning function on major construction projects from tender through to completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure programme accuracy and feasibility and monitor progress against baseline programmes and provide regular updates and reports.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of planning software (Asta Powerproject).
• Relevant qualifications in construction or engineering (HNC/HND/Degree level preferred).
• Ability to coach, mentor and recruit more junior planners
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in a senior level planning role within the construction industry.
