Construction Project Manager

Description

• Manage projects from inception through completion; develop project strategies, oversee planning efforts, and ensure alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Manage risk by identifying potential challenges early, implementing corrective actions, and coordinating with design professionals to resolve conflicts.
• Monitor construction progress through regular site visits, progress meetings, schedule reviews, and budget updates; proactively resolve issues that may impact performance.
• Coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal field teams; ensure seamless communication and timely execution of all project activities.
• Oversee all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, punch lists, and close-out materials.
• Review project financials including budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and invoices; ensure accurate tracking and adherence to financial targets.
• Maintain strong client relationships; serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle and ensure client satisfaction at turnover.
• Ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies; support field teams in maintaining a safe jobsite environment.
• Drive a culture of teamwork, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project teams.
• Collaborate with estimating and pre-construction teams during early project phases; review drawings, assist with budgeting, and contribute to value engineering initiatives.
• Lead project meetings with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders; communicate project status, key milestones, and deliverables clearly and consistently.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans including schedules, phasing strategies, procurement timelines, and resource allocation.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction planning through final close-out. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects while maintaining safety, quality, and budget integrity. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure every project is executed with excellence and delivered on schedule.

• Proven experience managing construction projects from start to finish, ideally within commercial, industrial, or multifamily environments.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building codes, scheduling techniques, and contract administration.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or similar are considered a strong plus.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or comparable software; strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience coordinating teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of driving projects to successful completion under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
