Description

• Operate all relevant tools and equipment safely, strictly adhering to Equans Guidelines and Controls (e.g., Risk Assessment, Site Safety, Fire Safety, Control of Infection, Hazardous Substances).
• Liaise with Fabric Supervisor and Fabric Manager to request the supply of goods and/or services when necessary.
• Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities as directed by the Fabric Supervisor/Fabric Manager.
• Complete all required report sheets, test certificates, and update drawings with any alterations.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections in line with published procedures.
• Use cause and effect analysis along with detailed examination techniques to diagnose faults, utilizing all relevant drawings and schematics.
• Execute planned and preventative maintenance tasks effectively.
• Work overtime to perform emergency repairs as required.
• Maintain an understanding of how other craftsmen’s work relates to and impacts your own tasks.
• Prepare and complete all Task and Risk Assessment sheets related to assigned work.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexibly including overtime for emergency situations.
• Willingness to undergo continuous training and development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities using technical schematics and cause-effect analysis.
• Fully understand the inter-relationships between various maintenance crafts.
• Qualified with an appropriately recognised Certificate & Grade (C&G), SCOTVEC (SVQ3), or equivalent qualification in joinery.
• Collaborative mindset to work within a multi-craft team.
