- Proficiency in preparing and documenting test result in accordance with TXDOT standards and project requirements
- Currently have or able to obtain 1A and 1B certifications
- Ability to use and navigate Site Manager a plus
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of asphalt pavements
- Driving to and from job sites
- Must be willing to transition from field testing and inspection duties to laboratory test responsibilities as needed
- Must be willing to work "off hours" when needed and up to 60 hours per week as needed
- Must have valid Driver's license
- Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred
- Experience reading and comprehending plans, specifications, and test procedures
- 0-5 years experience working in the construction industry
- Ability to travel, 20% of the time
