The Human Resource Manager sets the tone for the HR department and the organization, acting as a trusted advisor to the Plant Manager. This role supports and enables strategic execution by building organizational capabilities, handling employee relations, payroll, and compliance to keep operations both strategic and smooth.
Key responsibilities include partnering with the plant manager to provide insights, designing and leading workforce planning analyses, and addressing talent‑related challenges with targeted solutions. The manager serves as the primary contact for client and regulatory audits, oversees daily departmental workflow, conducts performance evaluations, and collaborates with leadership on talent strategy, succession planning, and recruitment. Additionally, the role guides HR generalists on complex issues, manages the talent acquisition process for managerial and professional positions, and evaluates compensation and benefits trends to propose competitive pay programs.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in an HR partnership role within a manufacturing or fast‑paced environment. Candidates must have five to seven years of experience managing an HR team, a proven record of strategic partnerships, strong employee‑relations expertise, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Access, PowerPoint, and Excel, is also required.
Preferred qualifications add three years of human‑resource management experience, especially in manufacturing or industrial settings, and a demonstrated track record of success in HR partnership roles.
