As a Lead Professional Engineer for Water Resources, you will work on large, multi‑disciplinary projects, developing diverse skill sets while overseeing design, analysis, and constructability of water systems. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, designers, field personnel, clients, and agency stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team of engineers, designers, and field personnel for water system design and constructability.
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders.
- Share resources with office management and other project managers.
- Assist in proposal preparation, including oral presentations, scope, schedule, and budget.
- Interface with state and local agency clients.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve engineering and construction issues.
- Prepare, review, and approve proposals, contracts, and cost estimates.
- Negotiate revisions and changes to contracts with sub‑consultants and clients.
- Ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate design activities to meet specifications, codes, and client requirements.
- Prepare clear technical reports and studies for clients.
- Perform independent reviews of calculations and drawings prepared by others.
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish.

- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering license.
- 8+ years of water facilities engineering, design, or construction experience.
- Ability to manage engineering, design, or construction projects.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2D modeling, and related software.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work locally or collaborate with other offices.
- Proven record of meeting project deadlines and budgets.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
