- Provide leadership for Team through knowledge in areas of specialization, coordinating work of others.
- Manage a support Team of engineers and technicians, some located remotely.
- Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
- As Project Manager, manage all aspects of Plan, Specification, and Estimate preparation of roadway projects in accordance with TxDOT procedures.
- May lead on one or more Teams in the delivery of work efforts that are often complex.
- Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projects.
- Be involved in all project aspects from client meetings, design/study development.
- Determine work priorities based on general direction from supervisor.
- Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- Serve as Capture or Project Manager for key pursuits

- Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads
- Obtain AECOM project Manager certification
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Project Management experience with DFW regional TxDOT projects
- TxDOT Pre-certifications
- Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
- Good communication skills
- 6+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)
- Experience designing highway/roadway systems
- Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is required to complete project communications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
