- Meet weekly project goals and contribute to a high-performing team.
- Tech-forward tools: Use modern devices and software to streamline your work.
- Prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports to support system reliability.
- Learn and apply standards from the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and utility construction guidelines.
- Conduct visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution equipment.
- Perform audits and inspections of pad-mounted equipment, poles, lighting systems, and joint-use facilities.
- Collect and analyze field data using tablets, GPS, and other digital tools.

- Basic knowledge of telecommunications and electrical distribution systems.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Comfortable using MS Office and other software tools.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- No prior certifications needed—we’ll train you!
- Previous experience in distribution design is highly valued.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and joint-use operations is a plus.
- Ability to start as a field technician and transition into a designer role within ~3 months.
