  • Prepare minor work orders and maintenance reports to support system reliability.
  • Learn and apply standards from the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and utility construction guidelines.
  • Conduct visual inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution equipment.
  • Perform audits and inspections of pad-mounted equipment, poles, lighting systems, and joint-use facilities.
  • Collect and analyze field data using tablets, GPS, and other digital tools.

  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications and electrical distribution systems.
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Comfortable using MS Office and other software tools.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • No prior certifications needed—we’ll train you!
  • Previous experience in distribution design is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and joint-use operations is a plus.
  • Ability to start as a field technician and transition into a designer role within ~3 months.
