The Class 1 Driver will transport and retrieve a wide variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites using a flatbed or roll‑back truck. Drivers operate in urban, suburban, and rural environments and must navigate safely through tight construction zones. This position demands reliable, safe driving in diverse conditions.
Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Class 1 driver's licence with an acceptable driving record. Prior experience with commercial equipment, crane trucks, or heavy‑haul driving is preferred, along with the ability to tow generators up to 20,000 lbs and operate cranes after training. A customer‑service mindset and basic troubleshooting skills for minor equipment repairs are essential.
The role requires physical effort such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, both indoors and outdoors as needed.
