- Attend and lead Branch, organizational and cross functional daily / weekly / monthly meetings and calls.
- Achieve consensus on operating plans. Provide reports and requested information to management as needed.
- An active and strong contributor to the management team, he/she takes the lead in highlighting, developing and executing best in class solutions for our customers.
- Influences organizational change, manages Warehouse Efficiency and inventory accuracy improvement programs to support business growth. Performs management functions of staff selection, development, discipline, performance reviews and/or terminations.
- Coordinate efforts with the Safety department to aid in training, conducting associate observations, updating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes, and routine safety inspections.
- Drive advancement in standard operating procedures and lead training events to standardize across all warehouse locations.
- Implements best practice warehouse management design to optimize space and maximize labor productivity.
- Completes Quarterly and Yearly employee team performance reviews
- Promotes a respectful work environment and continuously recruit, develop and retain a qualified, motivated and productive employee base
- Complies with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, AIB, FDA, USDA, etc.)
- Interview, hire, train, and certify all new hires on warehouse operations policies and procedures.
- Partners with functional and branch leadership to create strategic plans in support of future growth and improved efficiencies.
- Perform special projects and tasks as assigned while meeting and exceeding Warehouse Operations Standards.
- Provide leadership, support, mentoring, and performance management that ensures development of a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Operations Team.
- Makes recommendations and executes on disciplinary action and/or behavior modification where required.

- Ability to stand for entire shift on concrete floors
- Ability to work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year
- Hands-on and fact-based manager that leads by example.
- Able to use ladders and step stools to access materials
- Practical thinking and long-range planning. A proactive and quick thinker who exhibits common sense and the ability to problem solve in a high-intensity environment often requiring quick corrective action.

- 5+ years of experience in leadership role
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Oracle WM and Oracle ERP is a plus.
- Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50lbs frequently unassisted)
- Able to operate a forklift, and push and pull hand carts and hand trucks
- Sr. Warehouse Specialist
- Experience in Solar / Renewables Industry a plus
- Requires extended periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
- Able to read labels and identify symbols
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
- Experience in improving business processes via continuous process review & improvement techniques and incorporation of available systems technologies.
- Hardworking, action-oriented, and results driven. Able to manage and drive multiple priorities at once.
- Willingness to cooperate and accept added responsibilities.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and 50+ lbs with assistance
- Ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings
- Able to hear alarms and commands from a distance
- Must have the ability to develop individuals and establish positive team dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, team player, experience in working in a highly cross-functional organization
- Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
