The Field Mechanic role with MYR Group involves traveling throughout Texas to project sites, performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs while delivering exceptional internal customer service. Ideal candidates have three to five years of experience in heavy‑truck, automotive, or equipment repair, or equivalent vocational training combined with four years of experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication, basic computer skills, solid mechanical knowledge, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines are also required.
