Leading and supporting the team in tasks including design analysis, reports, drawings and tendering
Take part in fulfilling our strategic goals and targets in the wider Global Tunnel Team
Act as immediate manager for the staff in the team, including conducting the PDP (Personal Development Plan) dialogue and development process with individual employees in the team
Act as the daily manager of our UK Tunnels team, including being responsible for guiding, motivating, and supervising employees to meet organizational goals
Take part in general business development and the planning and coordination of market exposure (conferences, memberships, academic papers etc)

Requirements

Ideally 10+ year experience in the tunnelling or civil engineering consultancy / construction
Strong capabilities and experience in tunnel & underground space projects
Good team working and problem-solving skills
Strong network within public and private clients in the UK tunnel and underground space
Master’s degree in engineering and/or Science (MSc, MEng or similar)
Be a member of the institution of Civil Engineers and have gained Chartership (MICE, CEng)
Strong leadership and managerial skills
