Support and advance business development initiatives by maintaining and expanding client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and helping grow Waggoner’s Gulf Coast market presence.
Maintain proactive client communication throughout project life cycles to ensure satisfaction and successful delivery
Support proposal development, presentations, and strategic pursuit planning in coordination with Waggoner leadership.
Collaborate with Discipline Managers and Project Managers across offices to coordinate resources and share expertise.
Oversee preparation of engineering studies, designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public and private sector projects.
Conduct site visits and provide construction-phase services, including review of contractor submittals and resolution of field issues.
Lead and manage project execution from concept through construction, ensuring technical excellence, budget control, and schedule adherence.
Serve as a senior technical lead for multi-disciplinary civil engineering projects, with emphasis on water, wastewater, and transportation infrastructure.
Direct and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, promoting professional development and high-quality performance.

8+ years
Demonstrated experience in multiple civil disciplines, including water, wastewater, transportation, drainage, and site infrastructure.
Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Geopak, Open Roads, and other DOT-approved software.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead technical teams.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain within 90 days in states where Waggoner practices.
8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering design, project management, and/or business development.
Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build long-term client relationships.
