Ensure compliance with Canadian standards, including AREMA, CSA, and applicable provincial regulations.
Participate in tender evaluations, contractor coordination, and change management processes.
Be the client facing local representative for the OCS systems for the region.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Support construction and commissioning phases, including field inspections and resolving technical issues.
Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk evaluations related to OCS installations.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
Lead the design and engineering of OCS systems for LRT projects, including alignment with civil, structural, and electrical disciplines.
Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for OCS components (e.g., poles, cantilevers, tensioning systems, feeders).

Experience working on major transit infrastructure projects in Canada is highly desirable.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in railway electrification, with a focus on OCS design and implementation.
Bachelor'S or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
P.Eng. designation in a Canadian province (or eligibility to obtain).
Proficiency in OCS design software (OpenTrack and OpenPowerNet) is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of railway safety standards, construction practices, and project delivery methodologies.
This role requires a proactive approach to client relationship development, including regular engagement, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
