- May work with or around chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheet.
- Assembly of tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, bolts, screws, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering and brazing. Install other plumbing equipment, such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, air conditioners, appliances, and trim.
- Test pipe systems and fix leaks.
- Maintain initiative to preserve the flow of work.
- Perform rough-ins, repair and replace fixtures and water heaters, and locate, repair, or remove leaking or broken pipes.
- Assist plumbers in the layout, assembly, and installation of fixtures and materials.
- Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment.
- Complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Measure, cut and assemble new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports.
- Disassemble and remove damaged or worn pipe.
- Install systems used to transport water, waste, gases, or liquids.
- Assemble and install valves and fittings.
- Maintain Company information in a confidential manner.
- Coordinate with project manager on installation.
- Excavate and grade ditches and lay and join pipe for water and sewer service.
- Safely work from ladders for extended periods of time.
- Determine water supply networks and waste drainage systems.
- Sustain interpersonal relationships, which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and externally.
- Assist in installing and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and grade.
- Cut or drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipes.
- Requisition tools and equipment select type and size of pipe and collect and transport materials and equipment to work site.
- Select all materials needed for installation, including type and size of pipe.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications and where plumbing system will be installed.
- Observe pressure gauges to fix leaks.

- Extensive knowledge of installing and maintaining all plumbing systems.
- OSHA10 preferred.
- Safe working knowledge of all hand power tools.
- Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above
- This position requires working in an outdoors environment.
- Individuals may need to ride or drive in a vehicle for 2 or more hours at a time depending on position and job location.

- Demonstrate informative and professional assistance when working with customers, vendors and team members.

- Have basic knowledge of tools and plumbing materials, including knowledge of fitting sizes and types of piping.
- High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
- Motivated and works well with others.
- Act independently and originate new approaches to problems.
- Must be able to pass a physical examination and obtain a medical card
