As the Network & System Director, you are responsible for Manage all aspects of OT and network functions to support critical DC operations. The successful candidate will have vase experience in leading both in-house OT & Network teams and external vendors to plan, coordinate, deliver, operate and maintain all aspects of OT and network related projects, equipped with specific expertise in BMS, IOT, and DCIM in DC environments.
Establish, enforce, and continuously improve rigorous processes and procedures for system/network upgrades, implementations, and maintenance.
Own all aspects of OT/network-related audits, including internal, external, and cybersecurity audits.
Develop and lead the strategy for digitalization and data analytics initiatives to improve operational resiliency and efficiency.
Design, implement, operate, monitor, and optimize the OT and network infrastructure with a steadfast focus on reliability, security (data confidentiality/integrity), and performance.
Conduct comprehensive system and network analyses; recommend and oversee technology upgrades to meet evolving business needs.
Provide strategic direction and hands-on management for all OT and network infrastructure, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing in-house OT & Network team.
Identify, justify, and implement IT applications and automation solutions to enhance our value proposition.
Analyze connectivity requirements, develop implementation plans, and create tools to optimize network operations and costs.
Plan, monitor, and manage the department’s operating and capital project budgets effectively.
Manage relationships and performance of external vendors and partners to ensure seamless service delivery and project execution.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Proven technical mastery of OT/IT network technologies, protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, SNMP), and security architectures specific to industrial/DC environments.
15+ years of progressive experience in OT and network systems, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a mission-critical environment (Data Centers environment highly preferable, etc.).
Deep domain expertise in Data Center OT ecosystems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and IoT platforms.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and managing large-scale OT/network projects from conception to completion.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Proven ability to thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on system stability and security.
