The candidate will have the opportunity to assist with updating and improving compliance training templates.
The purpose of the Internship Program is to introduce students to Arconic through a challenging and rewarding experience in the corporate Environmental, Health and Safety department by assisting with environmental data collection, integration and analysis by Plants and/or business units, assess/evaluate opportunities to improve environmental data collection such as metering, updating solid waste profiles and waste vendors/suppliers.

Familiarity with laboratory analysis data.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must have an expected graduation date in late 2026, Spring/Summer of 2027
Ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team.
Familiarity with waste categorization.
Involvement with one or more extracurricular activities, work-study or off-campus jobs, and/or volunteer positions.
Familiarity with CAA, CERCLA, RCRA, and CWA regulations.
Possess strong leadership competencies, and strong team and analytical skills; strategic thinking skills; dedication and enthusiasm for work in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
Legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Proficiency in Excel is required, along with an overall level of expertise in MS Office environments.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Natural Resources Engineering, Environmental Sustainability Management or any related EHS or applicable discipline.
