Associate Principal, Architect (Living)

Description

• Develop and maintain key contacts in that industry
• Lead and foster client relationships and project presentations
• Develop and grow client relationships primarily in Living sectors, primarily in the area
• Leverage your existing experience and relationships with the national and global experience of the firm to grow your respective market
• Write and Review proposals
• Hands-on involvement and leadership with project design, coordination, preparation, and delivery of project document
• Work with the Business Unit Director and Practice Group Manager to grow the Living practice in the region
• Develop and maintain key relationships within our internal organization. Lead and facilitate cross-sector / discipline / office efforts through collaboration and the development of inter-office relationships.

Requirements

• Ability to think strategically and with an equal interest in business and practice issues with a minimum of 12 years of experience
• Inspire confidence as a subject matter expert in the Living Practice Group
• Licensed Architect with current registration in North Carolina
• Architectural Degree from an accredited program, Masters’ degree is preferred
• Strategic thinking leadership skills, with an ability to connect business with practice
• Comprehensive understanding of project coordination and related requirements of all disciplines, under demanding deadlines
• Experience with large complex projects within a large multi-disciplinary practice
