Paralegal

Description

• Manage deal closings, including checklists, signature packets, and post-closing documentation
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing transaction documents, including financing agreements, ancillary contracts, and closing deliverables
• Conduct basic legal research and assist with due diligence as needed
• Work at the forefront of the energy transition on marquee renewable energy projects
• Collaborate with a sophisticated in-house legal team
• Support attorneys on project finance, tax equity, M&A, and development transactions related to renewable energy assets
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel, lenders, investors, and developers
• Maintain and organize transaction files, data rooms, and precedent materials

Requirements

Location: Los Angeles, CA or Durham, NC (In-Person Required)

Relocation: Open to candidates willing to relocate to either location

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Open to relocating to either Los Angeles or Durham
• 3+ years of paralegal experience, ideally with project finance, real estate, energy, or infrastructure transactions
• Experience supporting complex commercial or financing deals (renewable energy experience strongly preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Based in Los Angeles, CA or Durham, NC, or
• Clear exposure to high-value, complex project finance transactions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
