The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key customers in the Fort Lauderdale market. This role involves strategic sales, negotiations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in sales or account management. Travel is required, approximately 50%-75% of the time.

  • Cross Functional Leadership: “Working across the value chain” for the success of the account. Builds relationships and effectively communicates within CWS leadership across customer service, operations, etc.
  • Client Support: Support contract execution of and respective agreements to maximize profit and ensure the timely delivery of products or services to the strategic accounts.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Manage and resolve any issues and conflicts with strategic accounts to ensure client satisfaction with the primary client and their customers.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to implement business solutions. Identify growth opportunities within strategic accounts. (Creates and maintains a joint business plan)
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting: Report on the status of accounts and transactions. Track sales metrics and share them with the company’s internal teams.
  • Strategic Sales: Develop strategic relationships with existing key clients. Analyze and understand the business needs and goals of these key clients.
  • Forecasting: Forecast and track key account metrics, aiming to improve them.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and meet key customer needs and requirements.
  • Ability to develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients.
  • Experience in the Florida market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fenestration Industry Experience: Prior experience in the fenestration industry is required.
  • R&R and Construction Experience: Experience in renovation and remodeling (R&R) and construction is essential. (Understands in-home sales models and processes)
  • Sales and Ordering Software: Proficiency in sales and ordering software is required, with a preference for experience using Pref.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% - 75% of the time.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software.
