- Manage discipline-level scope, budget, and schedule across multiple projects.
- Drive continuous improvement in design standards, workflows, and project execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, cross-discipline teams, and clients to align technical solutions with project objectives.
- Develop construction documentation and specifications for complex automation systems.
- Conduct interviews and contribute to hiring and team development efforts.
- Supervise and mentor engineering and design staff, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
- Provide technical oversight during construction, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and field support.
- Lead the design and execution of automation systems for advanced manufacturing facilities.

- Demonstrated experience leading automation engineering teams and managing large-scale projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP).
- Proficiency in engineering documentation including P&IDs, control schematics, and panel drawings.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and discipline-specific engineering software.
- Experience with advanced technology projects in biotech, pharmaceutical, or food & beverage sectors.
- Strong understanding of control system design, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance (e.g., cGMPs).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and industry codes and standards.3
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a design firm environment.
