The Event Marketing Team Lead will operate in the Charlotte and Columbia markets, providing on‑site leadership to a team of event marketers. This hands‑on role involves representing the Joyce brand at local events, coordinating daily logistics, and supporting lead‑generation efforts for the sales team. It also serves as a development position with structured training toward an Event Marketing Manager role.
Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of event marketing, promotions, or lead‑generation experience and a strong interest in progressing into management. They must possess strong communication skills, be willing to travel throughout the Charlotte and Columbia markets, and be flexible to work evenings and weekends. A results‑driven mindset, ability to lift event equipment, and bonus experience in home improvement events are also valued.
Compensation includes a base salary of $45,000, a $500 per month car allowance, a $100 per month phone allowance, and performance bonuses tied to lead generation and appointments set.
Team members receive hands‑on leadership training, mentorship, and exposure to event planning, team development, and performance tracking. Advancement opportunities are available based on performance and business needs.
