The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager by handling financial operations, processing invoices, collecting rent, performing bank deposits, and maintaining accurate records in the property management system. They also assist with leasing and marketing, enforce lease agreements, oversee resident satisfaction, manage contractors and vendors, and act as on-site supervisor when the Community Manager is absent.
- Support leasing and marketing to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, managing the full leasing cycle
- Process daily financial transactions, including rent collection, invoice payment, bank deposits, and account reconciliations
- Review and submit vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
- Analyze market and economic trends to recommend property improvements
- Conduct lease enforcement actions such as inspections, evictions, and collections
- Provide property tours and performance updates to owners/clients
- Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with service standards
- Promote resident satisfaction and maintain property safety, cleanliness, and appearance
- Supervise on‑site staff in the Community Manager’s absence, delegating tasks and coordinating maintenance
- Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with experience in property management, sales, marketing, or customer service preferred, and proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift 20 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance), and be willing to work weekends and occasional local travel.
