Directs the production of design materials that meet project objectives, including functional concepts, images, schedules and budgets
Takes responsibility for ensuring codes, regulations and industry standards are applied correctly
Recognizes needs and seeks out solutions for use of new technologies relating to project production and communications
Work under the direction of the Studio Design Directors to design and deliver exceptional and relevant innovative design solutions for our Education studio
Mentors and provides guidance to project team to achieve objectives
Collaborate with other designers and managers in the studio to maintain the firm design principles
Promotes technical and professional excellence throughout the team
Promotes design excellence throughout the projects in the studio
Presents designs to clients, works to develop and maintain presentation skills
Implements the firms design process and encourage the use of available innovation tools to achieve the firms design and brand objectives
Works with PIC/ Studio Design Director to augment the project team throughout the project life being available beyond design for CD design intent interpretations and solutions as well as CA troubleshooting

Familiarity with current global design trends in one or more of Corgan’s sectors
Candidates will have a track record of successful sustainable design methods and a long standing use and familiarity with AIA’s 2030 DDX
Have a demonstrated track record of consistently creating (and leading teams doing) high quality work.
A track record of public speaking in their area of expertise
Experience with design and implementation, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3-D modeling programs is preferred
Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Demonstrates knowledge of resources and materials and their application
8+ years in the Architectural design industry with a built and published track record of exceptional design work in the education market either K-12 or Higher Ed
Possesses excellent programming and strategic planning skills
Proficient with Revit, Word, Excel and other graphics-related programs
