Work under the direction of Electrical Engineers to develop working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed construction document packages for submission
Provide on-site construction supports as required
Develop models, design and drafting using advanced modeling and assembly practices within a 3D and 2D Electrical environment
Ensure proper documentation of all work, products, and relevant activities
Responsible for drafting and 3D modelling electrical systems for mining and industrial projects
Provide CAD drafting services to design team.
Apply, maintain and enforce CAD standards

10 years’ experience of drafting electrical, controls and instrumentation deliverables in an engineering environment
Ability to create electrical design of single line diagrams, motor schematics and wiring, General Arrangement, distribution panels, grounding, lighting, and cable tray.
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Able to work within defined schedules and deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team, applying skills to both new construction and renovation projects for drafting of power distribution, lighting and communication systems.
Ability to create and maintain cable schedule and material take offs
Experience with SmartPlant is preferred
Strong communication, analytical and time management skills
Able to function well, either as part of a team or independently
Experience working within an EPCM environment is preferred
Diploma in Electrical Engineering Design and Drafting Technology from a recognized collage.
