Assist with the preparation of permitting, design and construction documents
Preparation and/or reviewing of design criteria, drawings and specifications
Assist with civil engineering for retail, residential, institutional, renewable energy and industrial site design including grading and drainage design, utility design, and site layout
Work independently with a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans, reports and specifications for a multitude of land development projects
Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss design/permitting issues
Preparation of schematic design, design development, and construction contract documentation

5-8+ years of professional site/civil design engineering experience required
Knowledge of local and state regulations governing site design
Ability to work in a fast-paced office, virtual, and field environment, in rural or urban environments
Non-PE licensed candidates will be considered
Proficiency with AutoCAD, TR-55 and Rational Method for drainage design (i.e., HydroCAD, and StormCAD) required
PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months
Proven strong work-ethic and self-motivated to produce high quality outcomes
Solid understanding of the typical land entitlement process in CT including permitting at the local and state level preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study required, Master’s degree a plus (may substitute for 1 year of experience)
Highly organized, and detail oriented, with ability to think creatively and formulate solutions in team environment
Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with other emerging professionals and managers
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
