The primary purpose of this position is to perform advanced technical and engineering problem‑solving in support of nuclear plant operations. The engineer is responsible for technical decisions, applies deep functional‑discipline knowledge, and ensures compliance with industry codes and regulations.
- Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs with in‑depth technical expertise.
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation.
- Manage engineering tasks from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Apply engineering principles to assigned tasks and maintain proper configuration management and design standards.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
- Recommend new equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, and meet code changes.
- Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support outage activities as needed.

- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear).
- Entry‑level: No prior experience required; must meet access and medical requirements.
- Mid‑level: At least 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience; must meet access and medical requirements.
- Senior: At least 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience; must meet access and medical requirements.
- Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) registration, advanced technical degree or coursework, and experience with plant design and modifications.

The engineering role can be filled at entry, mid‑level, or senior levels. Expected annual salary ranges are $87,000 for entry‑level, $92,700‑$114,000 for mid‑level, and $122,400‑$154,000 for senior positions, plus the comprehensive benefits package.
