  • Manufacture, assemble, integrate, configure, and QA various video streaming, storage, and network distribution systems.
  • Travel to other facilities including ships to perform the aforementioned functions.
  • Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft-carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.

  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for UVS systems to include 28TV, 29TV, 30TV, 31TV, 32TV.
  • Use various types of test equipment to include multimeters, spectrum analyzers, cable TV test sets, fiber optic testers.
  • Build all types of connectors, be familiar with different types/gauges of wiring, cables to include CAT5/6, Fiber, power, HDMI, RG6, and others.
  • Assemble and wire equipment racks with equipment.
  • Provide thorough, daily communications and status reports to include estimates of time to complete assigned tasks.
  • Learn and configure various types of video servers, encoders, decoders, Television Receive Only (TVRO) satellite terminals, RF distribution equipment, networking protocols and switch configurations, digital and analog camera systems.

  • Experience with network administration, include layer 2 Cisco network switch configurations.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Experience with network-based video streaming systems, include RF distribution.
  • Experience with PTZ cameras, include network video recorders (NVRs)
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds and follow safe lifting procedures.
  • Travel required to CONUS and OCONUS facilities.
  • Able to provide driving record upon request.
  • Experience with network and RF connector fabrication.
  • Works well individually or in a team environment.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
