- Develop a strategic framework and vision to reduce balancing costs, producing papers, reports and presentations.
- Identify gaps and emerging opportunities to minimise balancing costs across the UK energy system.
- Lead stakeholder discussions, build relationships and communicate balancing cost insights to policymakers, regulators and network operators.
- Train and support team members to embed best practices in strategy development.
- Analyse complex issues using quantitative and qualitative evidence to form independent insights.

The role offers a competitive salary of £62,000‑£75,000 plus performance‑based bonus, 26 days of annual leave and a contributory pension scheme with up to a 12 % company match. Employees also receive career‑development resources, a diverse and inclusive community, and flexible working arrangements, including a minimum of one to two days per week at the Warwick office.
