Description

Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping, the Deputy Head supports daily operations, leads induction and training, mentors staff, and upholds brand standards while fostering a collaborative culture across the resort.

• Support the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department
• Lead induction and training for new and existing team members
• Mentor staff on company culture to foster continual improvement
• Communicate relevant news, scores, and survey feedback to team members
• Ensure efficient use of products, materials, and PPE while following sustainability guidelines
• Adhere to company brand standards
• In the Head of Housekeeping’s absence, assign accommodations and coordinate team tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role (advantageous)
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate
• Motivational skills (advantageous)
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays on a rotating shift basis
