Release project bill of material (BOM) and to manufacturer and support fabrication questions/comments.
Provide Squad Check for project P&IDs considering SOW and Turn-in data.
Support control designers in the development of wiring diagrams for control panel and/or junction boxes as per project proposal, customer specification and industry standards.
Support project engineers on change order costing and scope.
Provide support and assistance for the installation of new and existing generator control system panels and associated equipment, including shop testing.
Program, test, and trouble shoot both generators set and synchronizing controls system.

Assist with testing new power generation package control systems and programming logic at the Houston manufacturing facility before shipment to customer site.
Review and/or approve project wiring diagrams for control panels and/or junction boxes working with control designer and project engineers to meet project documentation delivery commitments.
Commission and service Enerflex designed and fabricated power generation systems; coordinate all related on-site commissioning activities.
Review and/or generate SOW (Statement of Work) created for the project and, as necessary review Turn-in data created by Enerflex applications group including customer specification.
Set up load banks as required including the programs and parameters.
Provide telephone and onsite support to customers and field technicians as required.
Contribute in Enerflex proprietary tools and software development for automation solutions.
Program and test transfer switches as required.
Perform emergency service, preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and offer operations instruction for industrial engine driven generators and associated controls systems.

Thorough understanding and ability to read and interpret electrical single line drawings, process and instrumentation diagrams and electrical and controls schematics.
Working knowledge of A/C and D/C systems and equipment.
Occasionally required to work non‐standard hours including evenings and weekends.
Working knowledge of various electrical components including MCCs, VFD’s, electrical switchgear and motors.
Valid driver’s license with the ability and willingness to drive long distances.
Domestic and international travel is possible on occasion.
Knowledge and experience with ComAP, Woodwards generator controllers considered an asset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office application software.
Knowledge in NEC code is required.

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Instrumentation discipline, minimum of 5 years’ experience in commissioning of Power Generation and/or Medium Voltage systems.

Working knowledge of low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems.
Knowledge and experience with SEL and NGR relays.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
