Welder (Night Shift)

Description

The welder/fabricator will perform welding and fabrication tasks to maintain and repair equipment, inspect weld quality to meet safety and operational standards, and operate welding tools and machinery safely and efficiently. The role requires close collaboration with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve issues while following all safety protocols and keeping the work area clean.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, possess strong knowledge of welding techniques and materials, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and attention to detail. The position also demands the ability to work independently or as part of a team, flexibility to work night shifts, and adaptability to changing priorities.

Successful applicants must pass a pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check, with some roles requiring ongoing FMCSA‑regulated testing. The work environment includes moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
