Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, legal, technical, and operational teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives that respect public sector procedural requirements.
Extract and analyse data from internal systems to generate insights that inform strategic decisions and align with industry protocols.
Evaluate and mitigate contractual risks, establishing robust risk management processes that adhere to security classification and compliance standards.
Review and redline contractual terms, ensuring they meet company objectives and industry standards; lead negotiations with customers, working closely with legal teams to address complex issues and ensure compliance.
Lead and manage the tendering process, including proposal development, pricing strategy, and risk management, with a strong understanding of public bidding procedures and industry-standard terms such as NEC and FIDIC.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring familiarity with agreements pertinent to the Energy Sector, such as NDAs, MOUs, and Consortium Agreements, while maintaining alignment with company goals.
Develop and implement strategic commercial plans tailored to efficiently achieve business objectives in accordance with industry regulations and processes related to public sector bidding.

Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, CPQs) is preferred.
Maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers, acting as a trustworthy and polite advisor, familiar with industry standard procedures.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic insights and actionable plans.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Significant experience in commercial management, with a strong preference for familiarity with Government Contracts within the Defence sector.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating high-value contracts and managing complex commercial operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
