Consultants work on both client engagements and internal projects, handling client and project management, data analysis, solution implementation, and the creation of deliverables. They gather and examine data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations based on best practices and benchmarks, while collaborating with senior professionals to enhance technical capabilities.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program through Fall 2025 and graduate by Summer 2026, have a working knowledge of Python, R, and SQL, and be able to obtain a Public Trust or higher security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required; visa holders (F‑1, J‑1) are ineligible. Ability to work on‑site in the DC metro area and to collaborate with other data scientists is also required.
Preferred qualifications include a technical degree in AI/ML or data science, prior internship or work experience developing predictive models, data‑engineering and visualization skills (e.g., Power BI or Tableau), strong communication abilities, and experience documenting technical processes.
