Construction Recruiter – Lumicity
I’m working with a well-established Commercial General Contractor based in San Diego that’s seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join their growing team. This role will take ownership of the estimating and preconstruction process—developing accurate budgets, competitive bids, and supporting successful project launches across a range of ground-up and civil commercial projects.
- Experience estimating retail, fast food, gas stations, or similar commercial projects.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel for project coordination as needed.
- Familiarity with non-union private work.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of estimating experience, including 3+ years in ground-up or civil construction.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Microsoft Project, SAGE 100, BidMail, and BIM software.
- Willingness to expand into medical and grocery store projects as opportunities grow.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
