Maintaining project data tracking requirements for waste register, environmental inspections, and incident corrective action log
Ensuring the application of environmental specifications as identified of IFC drawings to minimize adverse effects/impacts to the natural environment

Providing updated information to the Project Director regarding environmental plans
Liaising with the HSE Manager & Project Manager in providing them information, schedule details, quantities etc. ensuring they are aware of any unanticipated discoveries, critical permitting, and compliance issues

Demonstrated experience with construction of facilities in sensitive wetland areas.
Minimum ten (10) years of work-related experience for complex mega transit projects (1-3 billion dollars).
Demonstrated experience working with other project’s disciplines; to provide oversight to Sustainability Coordinator and Environmental Specialists, including development of mitigation measures, development of monitoring plans, and knowledge of environmental permits and approvals associated with such disciplines.
Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, with specialization in planning, environmental planning, geography or another related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in the design and site review of construction of mega transit projects.
Minimum 10 years’ progressive relevant experience leading to the role of environmental Manager.
Demonstrated experience liaising with other specialty consultants, contractors, and Governmental Authorities.
Knowledge of relevant federal and Ontario environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
Knowledge of O. Reg 341/20: Ontario Line Project, GO Transit Class EA Document, and Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.
Demonstrated experience with species at risk, natural heritage features, cultural heritage features, and archaeological assessments
Demonstrated experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating environmental monitoring and compliance for transit projects.
Demonstrated experience managing the process of procuring all environmental permits, licenses, approvals agreements and clearances on transit projects in Ontario.
Demonstrated experience managing environmental compliance duties on transit projects in Ontario.
