In this role you will receive service calls, diagnose equipment or system malfunctions, and perform repairs on electronic fire alarm and related building systems at customer sites. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will deliver solutions and outcomes during each service visit while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
You will follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures, consult technical manuals and bulletins, and service fire & life safety systems from multiple manufacturers. Reading blueprints, schematics, and product manuals, you will communicate consistently with customers, complete service acknowledgments via mobile devices, obtain signatures, participate in on‑call rotations, mentor teammates, and provide recommendations and quotes for efficiency improvements and upsell opportunities.
The successful candidate has at least two years of documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety, access control, nurse call, and paging. They must be able to read technical documents, operate test equipment, lift 50‑70 lb, work in confined or elevated spaces, and adapt to flexible schedules that may include weekends and overnight travel. Strong customer service, organizational skills, safety compliance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug tests are required; NICET Level II certification is preferred.

The hourly wage ranges from $20.10 to $27.60, based on education, experience, and market data, and includes a competitive benefits package.
