What you would be doing

  • How to inspect and wash rolls/spacers/chock assemblies/shafts as they come out of the mill
  • Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
  • How to assemble & Set up roll train and production tooling for upcoming sizes.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand and walk, use hands, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • How to work from rolling schedules and/or tooling coordinators instructions to ensure that proper rolls and production tooling are set up for upcoming size changes

  • Tube mill manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions; basic computer skills; able to read measuring devices/equipment, and basic math skills
  • Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism and a great work ethic
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Visual acuity to read and record numerical data
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • How to grease /lubricate roll train before sending to the mill
  • Exhibits effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Regular full-time predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role.
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push, pull, and able to lift 50 lbs
