In this full‑time role, the operator monitors real‑time operations, dispatches technicians, and supports switching activities while adhering to SOLV Energy’s internal compliance program and safety priorities. The position requires accurate documentation of outages, timely communication with internal and external stakeholders, and flexible shift work to support 24/7 operations.

Ensure all sites comply with NERC standards and maintain Bulk Electric System reliability.
Monitor performance of SOLV Energy O&M projects and dispatch technicians as needed.
Prioritize safety in all operational activities.
Perform or support safe switching operations without adverse impact.
Maintain compliance with internal compliance program and contractual/NERC obligations.
Accurately document planned and forced outages.
Provide timely, detailed communication logs to internal and external customers.
Maintain situational awareness of real‑time OCC operations.
Monitor data integrity and performance of generating assets using real‑time and historical analytical tools.
Coordinate with onsite technicians to evaluate alarms and initiate corrective actions.
Utilize multiple SCADA applications to control generating assets.
Provide administrative support through ticketing systems and track issues for timely resolution.
Respond to OCC alarms and requests, ensuring proper follow‑up.
Improve OCC workflows, processes, and training documentation.
