Prepare home closing entries to record revenue
Maintain and update various general ledgers, record financial transactions, and prepare journal entries
Prepares month-end, quarter-end and year-end working papers, including supporting financial and operational statements, and preliminary variance analysis, corporate schedules
Assist in preparation of quarterly working papers and checklists for audit purposes
Provide support for accounts payable team, including reviewing invoice submissions and coding, entering credit memos, and clearing old accounts
On a periodic basis, responsible for providing information (financial and process, written and verbal) to the applicable external auditor for testing and compliance analysis
Processes expense reports and is the key contact for online expense report system
Ensure personal and co-worker compliance to Limits of Authority Policy
Reconciles all divisional bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Attends various department and interdepartmental meetings to obtain information for reporting and to provide information to other departments
Maintains accounts receivable, booking payments, reconciling AR schedule
Continuous improvement of processes and adhoc requests
Special projects as assigned include contributing to one-time assignments, participating in software enhancements, historical project analysis, and sharing co-worker duties related to inventory, budgeting and accounting software inputs during periods of high volume or transition.
Maintains prepaid expenses and fixed assets, including booking entries, preparing reconciliations and writing off fully depreciated assets

Bachelor’s degree with up to 2 years of relevant experience. We welcome candidates who bring diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with software accounting systems.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, valuing different perspectives and ideas.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to come in the office on a full-time basis.
Comfortable using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and eager to learn new tools.
