The position involves providing site and property management services across an allotted portfolio, ensuring safety, security and appropriate insurance. Responsibilities include directing external agents and internal teams, liaising with contractors and procurement, overseeing security inspections, managing maintenance contracts and statutory documents, and supporting the Accounts Team with budgeting and cost‑reduction initiatives. The role also requires reviewing development proposals, ensuring compliance with planning, zoning, health‑and‑safety and building regulations, conducting cost comparisons, preparing operating budgets, implementing property management systems, and producing regular performance reports.
This new role sits within the expanding Asset Management Team and reports to the Senior Site Property Manager. It offers the chance to manage newly constructed large‑scale housing developments and landbank assets, progressing to active property and asset management throughout each project’s life‑cycle. The successful candidate will combine technical, property and commercial expertise with strong teamwork, work ethic and adaptability to meet LDA’s ambitious mandate.
Candidates must have at least four years of block property or facility management experience, ideally with a PSR Category D licence. Membership of SCSI or a similar professional body, with a pathway to chartered status, is desirable. Required skills include excellent relationship and communication abilities, strong financial acumen for budgeting, knowledge of title and OMC documentation, and a broad understanding of property management across markets. A good technical proficiency, familiarity with planning and development laws, and a clean driving licence with own car are also essential.
The role demands a self‑starter who is solutions‑focused and commercially aware, with meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience with property‑related IT systems, the ability to work well in a team, and flexibility to manage multiple sites via external suppliers or internal teams are key personal attributes.
