Assemble and check drawing submission packages for internal and client reviews
Establishes and maintains standards for projects, clients, and vendor activities
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, isometrics, process & instrumentation diagrams, and specifications
Work with the lead engineer and/or architect to perform various design aspects and specifications
Coordinate with other discipline engineers and designers on locations and routing
Draft mechanical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit
Read and interpret senior engineer markups and design directives.
Occasional travel to project sites throughout North America
Draft detailed construction drawings, develop plans and sections
Develop bidding, construction, and record documents
Confer with the lead engineer and project manager to incorporate design information and client standards into the construction documents
Customize CAD software to generate innovative solutions and meet client requirements
Maintain a strong understanding of current BIM, VDC standards, and industry solutions
Create and maintain 3-dimensional models and integrate models from a variety of design platforms
Review and understand client and in-house drafting standards before the start of a project

Familiarity with pipe fittings, piping systems, ductwork fittings, ductwork systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
Revit and AutoCAD experience preferred. Plant 3D and Inventor are a plus
Familiarity with Navisworks 3D models to interpret design basis and produce 2D drawings
