Matrix management of resources in various geographic locations across technical work-streams to ensure that solutions are delivered in accordance with agreed KPIs.
Create plans for work packages including scope, schedule, resources, technology deliverables, costs and implementation of systems into the business in-line with the ICT strategy and methodology.
Develop effective working relationships with ICT teams, the business, suppliers to gain commitment, support and resource to deliver technical streams of work.
Manage and report on project issues and risks to the relevant stakeholders and employ countermeasures to mitigate / minimise risks.
Provide technical input when negotiating and administering supplier contracts and service agreements.
Participate in tender process including design, submission and review as required.
Assist to define, and then lead the planning, implementation, and handover of approved solutions for Inland Rail business areas.
Ensure delivery complies with the appropriate governance and architectural principles.
Prepare and deliver project management deliverables, such as meeting minutes and reports to the appropriate project steering committees.
Lead and manage cross-functional project teams and manage stakeholder engagement to successfully deliver within agreed business outcomes, from post concept through to closure.

Knowledge of key program and project/change methodologies, including either AGILE/PRINCE2, PMBOK methodologies, with a working knowledge of the project development lifecycle in ICT environments.
Experience in developing capabilities of ICT to meet business needs, including ICT systems requirements specification and the authoring of Business Cases.
Procurement and/or contract management experience with various suppliers.
Experience in a similar role, managing application related projects following a methodology, and facilitating activity across the project lifecycle, including the initiatives conceptual phase.
Experience with systems and tools such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, MS Teams, DevOps, MS Excel and Word.
Experience in managing stakeholder relationships within complex projects with the ability to manage and resolve conflict, meeting challenging deadlines and delivering under pressure.
Experience managing information management related projects, including experience with Microsoft 365 implementation and or change management of M365 would be advantageous.
Ability to lead a team of business and technical consultants, to work with senior ICT stakeholders and to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Understanding of risk identification, mitigation, and management.
