- Install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and HVAC components on new construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to layout and measure duct systems.
- Cut, assemble, weld, fasten, and seal ductwork according to project plans.
- Operate hand and power tools, lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
- Coordinate with foremen and other trades to maintain workflow and schedule.
- Follow safety standards and keep the jobsite clean and organized.

- Minimum 2 years of commercial sheet metal experience, preferably in new construction.
- Strong knowledge of ductwork installation methods, materials, and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools.
- Reliable, team‑oriented, safety‑focused, and willing to travel within the DC‑Virginia area.
Benefits
Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate, with prevailing‑wage projects offering $60‑$75 per hour when available, performance‑based bonuses, comprehensive medical, dental, and financial benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
