Transporting water, linepipe, machinery, and general freight within the Cooper Basin with precision and care.
Delivery of plant, equipment & materials undamaged.
Loading/ unloading and transportation of earthmoving equipment, such equipment includes Excavators/ Graders/ Trenchers etc.
Perform daily routine checks, maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicles/equipment.
Efficiently and effectively provide logistical support in accordance with agreed schedules and specifications.
Actively participate in hazard identification and control.
Transportation of various plant, equipment & materials to and from sites

Requirements

Skilful operation of double and triple road trains.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of general vehicle maintenance.
Mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers.
The ability to adapt to challenging road conditions daily.
A meticulous approach to equipment care.
Construction White Card will be a mandatory requirement of the role.
Prior experience working and driving heavy vehicles in remote or rural locations.
Strong independent work ethic.
Experience loading Excavator, Grader, and Dozer (desirable).
Current open MC heavy vehicle license.
Exceptional communication skills.
Forklift certification.
Safe loading / unloading and security of freight.
Understanding of and commitment to Safe Work Practices.
