- Inspect plumbing systems and components for leaks, blockages, or other issues, and perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians, HVAC technicians, and carpenters, to coordinate installation and repair activities as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment, including pipes, valves, and water heaters
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements for plumbing systems
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and solder pipes using hand tools and equipment, ensuring proper fit and alignment
- Install and connect plumbing fixtures and appliances following established codes and standards
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves, and fittings using appropriate tools and materials

- Attention to detail and accuracy in installation and repair work
- Speaking and reading proficiency in either English or Spanish required
- Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
- Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent plumbing skills, including pipe fitting, soldering, brazing, and threading
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
