Minimize project risk by producing complete, thorough, and competitive estimates.
Review and interpret construction documents including plans, specifications, engineering reports, and contracts to develop accurate cost estimates.
Manage multiple priorities while collaborating with team members to achieve company goals.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, and sales presentations.
Verify the accuracy of data used in estimates and bids.
Stay current on estimating trends, tools, and best practices.
Build and maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
Develop detailed scope sheets for each project division to ensure complete coverage.
Represent the company with a professional attitude, appearance, and commitment to quality.
Perform material quantity take-offs and solicit subcontractor bids via phone or electronic platforms.
Prepare detailed and professional estimates and proposals using ethical standards and the most current internal and industry cost data.
Participate in post-bid evaluations and post-project reviews.
Support estimating and other departments with administrative and coordination tasks, including tracking bid documents and maintaining databases and files.
Create and maintain bid recap sheets.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field preferred.
