Business Project Manager (Electrical Testing)

Description

• Manage multiple electrical testing projects, overseeing schedule, budget, and field coordination.
• Serve as primary customer liaison and coordinate with sales managers on project communications.
• Develop project work plans and schedules, handle change orders, and ensure compliance with QA/QC and safety procedures.
• Conduct technical and safety training for personnel and mentor new employees.
• Verify testing procedures, perform weekly progress reviews, and conduct quality checks on completed work.
• Source and allocate personnel and equipment to meet project timelines.
• Collect and review documentation and field reports.

Requirements

EPS seeks a highly organized and technically proficient Electrical Testing Project Manager to lead field‑based projects within a NETA‑certified environment. The role partners with the Operations Manager and field service technicians to oversee project execution across substations, switchgear, protective relay systems, and other high‑voltage assets, ensuring budget, schedule, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep power‑systems knowledge, QA/QC expertise, and strong communication skills.

• Meet physical requirements: climb ladders, lift up to 70 lb, and travel as needed.
• Possess 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a degree or military background in electrical/electronic technology; NETA certification is a plus.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and pass drug screening and background checks.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
