Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
Prepare proposal submissions including pricing, agreements, and/or response to RFPs.
Find and recommend solutions to technical problems and issues.
Follow up on each step of a project (field surveys and inspections, technical reports, plans and specifications, work supervision).
Provide technical support to clients and ensure proper coordination with the various stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors) throughout the project.
Perform calculations using specialized software for new constructions, carry out expert assessments and supervise asset maintenance work on existing buildings.
Project planning including design schedule, and proposed construction schedules.
Participate in the design of structural elements for various steel, concrete, or wood structures.
Liaise directly with clients and maintain business relationships.

Fluency in oral and written English is a must (French is considered an asset).
Ability to work on different projects simultaneously.
Hold a P. Eng. title from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.
Proficiency with ETABS, ADA and SAFE software.
Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
University degree in civil engineering or an equivalent.
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in building structures at conception level and in inspection on construction sites.
